Bossard began her career as a commercial seafood expert in 1999 when she began working aboard the F/V Sunset 65' halibut schooner that has been a to salmon tender with Murat Aritan. He has been an commercial fisherman from 1993. Bossard, who is engaged to Aritan she has joined alliance to gain access to their businesses. They believe in conservative, sustainable managing of the renewable resources for seafood. In 2007, she became a mother of two children Bella age 3 as well as Andre 1 Bossard and then relocating back to live in Philadelphia and opened an online direct wholesale distribution of seafood known as Otolith. Otolith's name is a fond memory of Bossard's deep understanding of the biology of fish and her husband's vast connections to the seafood business.
